Oeiras is a Portuguese town and the administrative seat of the Municipality of Oeiras, located in the Lisbon District and part of the Lisbon Metropolitan Area. It is considered one of the municipalities within the first belt surrounding the capital.

With an area of just 45.88 km², the municipality lies in the northwestern section of the Tagus Estuary (known as the Tagus Narrows), on its right bank. It is centered around a small bay along the Lisbon coastline, featuring approximately 9 km of waterfront.
