Welcome to Chaverim TAC 2!

This talkgroup is part of the Chaverim TAC 2 network and is linked to our backup reflector XLX217 on Module B. Its main purpose is to provide an additional communications channel as well as an alternate/backup location for our weekly nets.


HOW TO ACCESS TAC 2
Chaverim TAC 2 is now fully linked to other networks for ease of access. It is reachable via any of the following:

WEEKLY NETS
  • SUNDAYS - CHAVERIM TRANSATLANTIC DV NET - Our weekly North America / Europe multiprotocol Digital Voice net (DMR, D-STAR and YSF) meets on Chaverim TAC 1 over on our main reflector XLX218 Module A every Sunday at 9:00 PM local, British Time / 4 PM local, US Eastern Time (3PM Central, 2PM Mountain, 1PM Pacific). You can also listen to the net live via the Brandmeister Hoseline [coming]. Net control rotates.
  • THURSDAYS - CHAVERIM OF GREATER WASHINGTON - The weekly multiprotocol Digital Voice net (DMR, D-STAR and YSF) for the local Washington DC chapter meets on Chaverim TAC 1 over on our main reflector XLX218 Module A every Thursday at 9:00 PM US Eastern Time (8PM Central, 7PM Mountain, 6PM Pacific). You can also listen to the net live via the Brandmeister Hoseline [coming]. Net control is W3AY.

BRIDGES TO OTHER NETWORKS
Chaverim TAC 1 and Chaverim TAC 2 are separate and independent of each other by design. Each reflector also provides connectivity to different networks. Here are the network links each reflector provides:

  • TAC 2 on XLX217 Module B is linked to TGIF, QuadNet, AmComm, and Ham United.
