The Bicol Homebrewer Amateur Radio Inc. (DX4BR), established in 2016 and registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission under CN 201639086, is a dynamic, community-driven non-government organization dedicated to providing emergency communication and assistance across Daraga, Legazpi City, and neighboring provinces in Albay.
Composed of spirited amateur radio enthusiasts, DX4BR operates from its base in Daraga, maintaining a resilient communication network that extends not only throughout the Philippines but also reaches stations across the globe.
The group is proudly affiliated with the Philippine Amateur Radio Association (PARA), Ham Emergency Radio Operation (HERO), and the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) under COA No. 221-16. Internationally, DX4BR connects with the International Amateur Radio Union (IARU), strengthening its ties with the worldwide amateur radio community.
DX4BR’s vision centers on promoting amateur radio activities such as homebrewing, antenna experimentation, DXing(long-distance communication), contesting, and Elmering, mentoring newcomers passionate about radio technology. Through continuous programs and initiatives, DX4BR fosters technical innovation, camaraderie, and public service at the heart of Bicol’s communication network.
