This talkgroup serves as the official talkgroup to report Skywarn/Severe Weather or discuss weather-related topics for the NC/SC areas. Talkgroup is maintained by David Coviello (AK4FD), Vice President and Training Coordinator for the Carolina Storm Spotters, we go all over the Carolinas (NC and SC) and chase storms and severe weather. We report directly to the National Weather Service. This talkgroup may be used at ANY time by anyone; however during Skywarn activations, storm chases, and/or training exercises it will be utilized only for that purpose until concluded.
