Welcome to TGIF TG 3157 "Jax Ham Mesh Users". Our mission is to help local Jacksonville FL Hams get their nodes up and running as well ss discuss general Meshtastic and Meshcore topics. Our ultimate goal is to grow both the Meshtastic and Meshcore number of nodes in NE FL to the point of being a real viable off grid communication alternative. The more nodes we have up and running the better the mesh coverage. We are currently using the acryn MQTT server to grow the mesh on Meshtastic. You can find all the Meshtastic settings for both Android and IOS on JaxBeacon.com for your Node. While certainly not off grid using MQTT, the MQTT is helping the Mesh grow rapidly in NE FL and should the grid go down, rest assured your MQTT enabled Meshtastic node will try its best to hop nodes with pure LoRa 900mhz RF as it was originally designed. IT remains primarily a LoRa RF device , even when using the internet through an MQTT server. GET MESHED UP JAX!!!!!
