On this talkgroup we will try to discuss all topics related to railroading in North America. SIG, in case you were wondering, stands for Special Interest Group. This was borrowed from the National Model Railroad Association, which has many SIG's under their organization.
This includes, but is not limited to, working for the railroad (past or present), preservation efforts you might be involved with at museums or personally, general railfan reports and questions, and model railroading in general.
We will focus here on railroads in North America, but anyone is welcome.
